You have a great looking business website, but if no one knows about it or visits it to find out more about your products and services then it is just that, a great looking website and there are a lot of great looking websites out there with very little traffic.

To attract more people to your site and become new customers for your business you need to let them know about you through; social media, search engines, blogging, email newsletters and advertising. Apart from the last one in that list, the rest are relatively inexpensive and can either be done yourself or I can do them for you.

Increase Traffic With Social Media

increase traffic with social media

we can help increase traffic to your website through social media, SEO, blogging and email newsletters

Social media is a bit like Marmite – you either love it or hate it! Either way, it is a really great way to let as many people as possible know about your business, without an expensive price tag.

The big problem with social media is that it can take up so much of your time, you know how it is? You log on to post something on your business page and get side tracked by cute photos, interesting news and well … life. Plus there are a lot of ways to be social online and they are forever changing.

If you are finding you don’t have the time to manage your social media accounts as well as you would like, we can do it for you.

We start by working out with you who your ideal customer is, from there we will know which social media platforms they use and what they are looking for from you. And yes I am well aware that it sounds a lot like stalking – but I promise it isn’t! 🙂 We will then look after your social media accounts, posting on your behalf and building relationships with your potential customers.

It’s all about listening and talking.

Over the last few years social media has become such a part of our everyday lives that quite a lot of us probably don’t go a day without using it one way or another. That kind of useage produces some mind-blowing numbers and it also shows just how big the opportunity is for your business to reach out to more potential customers than ever before.

  • 53% of people on Twitter recommend products in their tweets.
  • 90% of consumers trust peer recommendations, with only 14% trusting advertisements.
  • Social media has become the number 1 online activity.
  • 24 million Britains log on to facebook each day (that’s more than a third of us!)
  • 97% of Pinterest fans are women.

“We will no longer search for products and services … they will find us on social media.” Erik Qualman, Socialnomics

Search Engine Traffic

Increasing the amount of visitors to your site from the search engines is an important part of managing your website, the traffic is free and we all love some free traffic.

However, just because you have a website it does not mean that you will automatically have visitors from the search engines.

  • You need to let the big boys like Google, Bing and Yahoo know that you are there.
  • You will want to make sure that all of the pages on your site are the best that they can be.
  • You will want to have your titles, meta data and keywords all in the right places.
  • And you will want to have some great links to your site – not lots of spammy ones.

All of this can seem overwhelming, 8 years ago when I started out online this was a steep learning curve and as the search engines change their algorithms that learning keeps on. If you want to save yourself a whole load of time, we can make sure your site has everything in place to get the most free traffic it can.

Blogging

With the recent changes at the big search engines having relevant and up to date content on your site is a must. A blog on your business site can really help with this and it will give you an opportunity to comment on topical, seasonal and newsworthy items about your industry.

Again, creating fab content on a regular basis can take up time, if you need someone to set up and write your blog for you in your voice and to appeal to your customers, please get in touch.

Email Newsletters

Email newsletters are a great way to give something back to your loyal customers and build strong relationships. Sending a regular newsletter sharing your news, special offers and useful information will increase your visitors to your site and also your sales.

If you are feeling under pressure we can set up your newsletter for you and even write it in your voice, no one will know.
